Although I am a Functional Medicine Practitioner, I prefer to call the work I do Functional Wellness.
Why? Because Functional Wellness goes beyond the boundaries of traditional medical practice. I don’t write prescriptions or provide medical care in the conventional sense. Instead, I focus on empowering individuals to create a deeper connection with their bodies and uncover sustainable ways to improve their overall health.
That said, my journey into Functional Wellness is deeply rooted in my background. I spent over a decade working in the emergency room, and I’ve been part of the healthcare industry for over 30 years. That time gave me a profound understanding of the body, but it also opened my eyes to the limits of conventional medicine—especially when it came to addressing the root causes of chronic symptoms. This realization led me to explore Functional Medicine and, eventually, to create a wellness approach that integrates science, prevention, and personalized care.
With this foundation, I am uniquely equipped to help others achieve balance and vitality in their lives. My Functional Wellness programs are grounded in evidence-based practices, specialized training, and a genuine passion for helping people transform their health. The most rewarding part of this work is watching my clients reconnect with their bodies and discover a version of themselves they thought they had lost.
Through the use of advanced lab testing, I help uncover the root causes of physiologic imbalances that are often overlooked. These labs provide insights that allow me to create personalized wellness plans tailored to each person’s unique history, goals, and needs. Together, we focus on cultivating healthy habits and lifestyle changes that are not only sustainable but deeply transformational.
My approach is not just about providing solutions—it’s about being your guide, your coach, and your cheerleader on your wellness journey. I believe in blending science with compassion, structure with flexibility, and knowledge with intuition.
